The sixth book in the Violin ABC series using the Colourstrings method.

Violin ABC volumes E & F were developed in order to maintain the child-centred but nevertheless very pragmatic and goal-oriented style and content of the Colourstrings approach following on from books A to D. Books E & F concentrate on the left hand and make conscious use of the various finger patterns and finger positions on the fingerboard. These books teach and practise a new technical or theoretical concept by means of a great variety of teaching material and also offer remedial repertoire to fill possible technical gaps or to make up for missing technical and theoretical knowledge. The new volumes can thus be considered as a sort of 'tutor's lexicon' or repertory that provides teaching material to account for every technical and theoretical step a pupil will gradually need to take.
